The Great Get Together
We are very proud at The Linking Network to have been able to share some of our schools linking resources for bringing people together to talk about what they have more in common for the Great Get Together.
The Great Get Together is inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed on 16 June 2016. Those organising the Great Get Together believe there is a groundswell of people who reject divisive politics and simply want to bring our communities together and celebrate all that unites us. This year, The Great Get Together will take place on 22nd – 24th June 2018, which would have been Jo’s 44th birthday.
Resources for pre-school, primary, secondary and sixth form now available to download here: https://www.greatgettogether.org/resources/ or you can get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
We’re also thrilled to see this amazing short film which was created in Bradford and includes Ameerah, a wonderful member of our team, along with other local young people sharing what they have in common.
