The Linking Network team are looking forward to delivering their SMSC and British Values training once again this year; equipping SMSC leaders with the know how they need to promote outstanding SMSC in their classrooms and across the whole school.
With a close eye on the new Ofsted framework published in September 2019 as well as ongoing DfE expectations, we have carefully planned a training session for the afternoon of Tuesday 24th March 2020 at The Innovation Centre, Bradford Digital Exchange, 34 Peckover Street, Little Germany, BD1 5BD. There will be refreshments from 12.15 and the actual session will run between 1-4pm. The session will be suited to leaders who have or will have whole school responsibility for leading SMSC and personal development across their school.
This half-day course is led by qualified and experienced advisory teachers, who aim to balance input with reflection and interactivity, guiding participants in developing SMSC and British values in their own school context. The course will be based on the new expectations for personal development and character education in the new Ofsted 2019 framework
A key part of our training will also enable delegates to be able to effectively train other staff in their own schools. We will also ensure that attendees are able to take home resources which exemplify SMSC and British values development and a staff meeting PowerPoint.
Booking a place is easy: You can book online at www.thelinkingnetwork.org.uk, email email@example.com or phone 01274 439248, stating name, role in school, contact details, and dietary or other requirements for the delegate.
