Wishing everyone well for 2021 and new Remote Education Resources

Many of us are now embarking on remote teaching while teaching children in school  and supporting children with homelearning.
At TLN we’re doing our best to help and have built a new area of our website – Teacher Remote Learning Resources. The resources support teachers to deliver PSHE, Citizenship and SMSC and are aimed at Teachers delivering remote learning or teaching in school to key worker/vulnerable pupils. We hope there will be some ideas and activities for you to use and we’ll continue adding to this area in the coming weeks.

There are resources for both primary and secondary pupils. We’ve used the PSHE headings so it’s easy to find what you need. We’ve indicated on each resource the specific objectives that the resource helps pupils achieve from the Citizenship Programme of Study and the PSHE Association Programme of Study for KS1, 2, 3 and 4.  We’ve also got pre-recorded Assemblies, stories read on video with activities and Sign Supported English tutorials and a wonderful 15 minute professional play from M6 Theatre set in the context of lockdown that may help KS2 children.

The resources are free to access and share and don’t require you sign up. The link is here:https://thelinkingnetwork.org.uk/resources-2/remote-learning/

This is in addition to the Home Learning area for Parents to use at home we built last year which remains freely available: https://thelinkingnetwork.org.uk/resources-2/home-learning-resources/

We hope these resources are useful to Teachers, feel free to share widely with colleagues and let us know how you get on.
