Interest in Intergenerational Linking


There is so much interest in Intergenerational Linking, where classes can link with residents in a local care home. Here are some of the lovely, encouraging comments that the residents of one care home in Leicester have sent to the class that links with them.

I think its one of the most powerful things we can do as teachers to prepare children for real life. Our partnership with the Care Home FaNs: Intergenerational Linking project now has 11 areas across England, linking young people aged 5-14 from schools and youth groups with older people living in care homes.
