Schools Linking Celebration Week

From 13th – 17th June 2022 we are organising a national Schools Linking Celebration Week. This will be a moment to gather across communities, reflect on and celebrate all that is achieved through Schools Linking in each area and across the country.

Through primary and secondary lessons, school assemblies, linking events and digital activities, this week is a chance for thousands of children and young people in hundreds of schools across England to:

  • Celebrate and share their stories of linking and feel the power and solidarity of others doing the same up and down the country.
  • Create a joined-up national story of the power and impact of TLN’s work to local and national decision makers, funders and wider communities.

At the heart of the week will be our crucial question: How do we all live well together?  With a bumper bag of books available to the lucky few who submit the most inspiring answers. To be in with a chance of winning, tweet your answer (in any format you like!) to our question tagging @Linking_Network with #SchoolsLinking in your post. We have some resources to use on social media  here.

We are also holding an event in Bradford, which you can join in person or online. Bradford is where The Linking Network’s journey began over 20 years ago, so this event will be a celebration of the time and experiences young people have shared together across England, this year and over the past 2 decades. Please join us for this event, where you will hear from the original schools, as well as some of the people who deliver our work in Bradford today and most importantly of all, the young people at the heart of it. Learn more about the event and sign up here.
