Burnley Youth Theatre, Heritage Learning Lancashire and FUNDA will be offering schools interactive digital/ in person workshops: – drama, storytelling and football. We can’t wait! We’ve already had some face to face meet-ups, celebrating together with the Burnley Youth Theatre at the end of the linking year; lots of new friendships and memories.

What do schools Say about our linking programme?

Children are so excited to see their new friends again. They talk about their new friends frequently.”

“Good opportunity to show diversity to the children.”

“It was a joy to see them so enthusiastic about meeting new people and wanting to keep in touch.”

“…one little girl who called people from other cultures ‘they’ or ‘them’ (but now she) fully embraced the experiences she has had …. She has opened her mind and this has extended to all aspects of her personality”

Led by Afrasiab Anwar, MBE, Council Leader, Burnley Council
