We are very excited to be working with the Peterborough Linking Programme, which is led by City Culture Peterborough.
After an enthusiastic start in 2020, it was such a let down to have to pause everything so early on, due to Covid19. We had 8 classes signed up, with possibly two more to link. Each linking pair had a name of an important figure in Peterborough’s past. This provided the children with something they could learn about together, as well as increasing their pride in the city’s past, -plus it provided a useful name for the venues and coach company so they knew they had the correct linked pair! We are fortunate enough to have a digital timeline of the city where the children can read about the figures, which is a great resource to share with the classes and we are looking forward to picking up where we left off.
We are now looking forward to re-launching in Autumn 2022; building a sense of togetherness with other children and creating shared learning adventures.
