Our People
Since our establishment in 2001, our teacher-led organisation has developed a locally-led, nationally-supported network which reaches 200,000 young people a year.
Our small core team based in Bradford are experts in education, teaching, community development and organisational leadership. Their purpose is to provide support and resources to the local areas delivering schools linking and intergenerational linking programmes as well as developing resources for the classroom to embed our work across the curriculum.
All our linking work is led locally by Local Facilitators. These Facilitators are based in local partners – either a local authority or a non-profit organisation. Each brings their own expertise in the fields of education or community development. All facilitators are connected up by our national network of facilitators which comes together 4 times a year to share and learn from one another.
Our Board of Trustees is our governing body and is ultimately responsible for the strategic, legal and financial health of our organisation. Their combined experience and expertise stretches across community development, faith, civil society leadership, finance, law and governance.
