Looking for a fun and safe way of helping your children and young people to connect with others? Interested in improving your children and young people’s confidence in interacting with people of different backgrounds? Want to build their sense of belonging to your local area? Our Primary and Secondary Schools Linking programmes might just be the answer!

The recent DFE Curriculum and Assessment review stated that going forward, they will seek to deliver a curriculum that reflects the issues and diversities of our society, ensuring all children and young people are represented, and exposed to a wide range of perspectives that serve to broaden their horizons. We believe Schools Linking can support your school to achieving this.

The Interim Review highlighted “as well as making sure that children and young people can see themselves represented in the curriculum, it is important that they encounter the unfamiliar, and have their horizons stretched and broadened; representation does not and must not mean restriction to only some frames of reference for particular children or groups of children”. The Review also identifies the importance of “shared experiences, the creation of connections, and the ability to see and experience a wide range of perspectives.”
