Schools Linking Celebration Week 2026 Is Here!
22 June, 2026
There is so much going on across The Linking Network during our national Schools Linking Celebration Week! From Kent, across to Cardiff and up to Newcastle and the North East, children are sharing their achievements, celebrating and reflecting on our key question, ‘How do we all live well together?’

Thousands of children engaged with Schools Linking will be joining one of our live lessons. As with previous years, we have no doubt that there will be a lot of smiles and laughter! They will be taking part in some games, sharing their highlights from their Linking year and considering what skills and attitudes we need to develop so that we really can live well together.
A range of celebration events are also taking place this week. For example, in Oldham, children will be gathering at the Gallery and meeting with the Mayor, in Cardiff, circus performers will be working with linking children in fun, collaborative activities and in Bradford, hundreds of children from the BDAT Trust will be joining together at Bradford City Football Stadium and working with an artist to co-create a poem.

This year, The Linking Network, worked in partnership with 26 Local Areas to provide opportunities to children and young people to explore their identity, connect with others and build community across all forms of difference. Next year, we are delighted to welcome 2 new areas – Knowsley and Walsall. If you are interested in finding out more about linking in your area, contact info@thelinkingnetwork.org.uk
