Countdown to the 2023 Schools Linking Celebration Week has begun!

From 3rd – 7th July 2023 we are organising a national Schools Linking Celebration Week. Like last year, this will be an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate all that is achieved through Schools Linking in each area and across the country.

We have Primary and Secondary lessons, school assemblies, linking events and live online sessions. The week is a chance for thousands of children and young people in hundreds of schools across England to:

• Celebrate and share their stories of linking and feel the power and solidarity of others doing the same up and down the country.
• Create a joined-up national story of the power and impact of TLN’s work to local and national decision makers, funders and wider communities.

During the week we will be asking the question, “How do we all live well together?” 

We are encouraging everyone across the country to support us by promoting and engaging in our celebration week and considering how this question relates to themselves.

Last year we received widespread support from schools, charities, local authorities and others from across England and beyond and were even supported by some celebrities!

This year we have a challenge to see which of the 27 local Schools Linking areas can attract the biggest celebrity endorsement!

Twitter is also the place to look out for another of our amazing bumper book giveaways. To celebrate #SLCW23 a few lucky people who submit the most inspiring answers to our question will be rewarded with a selection of books related to four key themes of our work; identity, diversity, community and justice. Our annual Celebration Week is not only a chance for us to celebrate our impact but also to raise the profile of our network and lead to more schools joining in 2023-24.
